It's kinda unsettling . . . .

. . . when you're the only one putting money IN the bank & everyone else is taking money OUT. There was a run on our Latvian bank, Swedbank, that started on Sunday.  The first run on a bank I have ever seen.  Long lines at Swedbank ATMS all around Riga--people withdrawing money.  But today we deposited money at Swedbank, because we must have money in the bank for our end of the month expenses before we leave this Friday morning. Swedbank declares it is all a false rumor.  We pray so--it is how our national co-workers get paid.
